There has been quite a few misconceptions about the "Partial Star" symbol, all of which I would like to put to rest.
The most common of these would be that it is "Satanic" souly because it is A) a star, B) on fire or C) Both. Some people thing that it's a pentagram, which confounds me to no end because of the lack of Circle surrounding it. And even if there was a circle, a Pentagram is NOT Satanic. A pentagram is a wiccan symbol of Protection. If being protected is Satanic then all who buy a home security system are Satanic.

The Fire of the star is mearly a decoration. I, basically, thought it looked cool. No other meaning is in that. I even have other Decorative Partial Stars. I just thought the Fire one was the coolest looking out of all of them.
If we dive a little deeper into the meaning of this artificial symbol we find that I created a five pointed star without the line connecting the top left and top right points. I created it during a session with my therapist about 8 years ago. I was 14 years old. I drew a picture of a house, a tree made of snakes and the sky was filled with this unfinished stars. He asked me what it ment, why I didn't finish them. I replied with, "because I just didn't feel like it." Typical 14 year old response. He then said, "I think they look like little people, with their arms outstretched toward the sky. Reaching upword toward their goals." And, with that, this symbol had always stuck with me.
